AMD Announces Release of FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 Source Code

On Thursday, AMD made an exciting announcement regarding the release of the first version of FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) source code. This release is made possible through the company's GPUOpen initiative. AMD has set up an FSR 3 source code repository on GitHub, allowing game developers worldwide to take advantage of it.

The repository includes the complete source for DirectX 12, as well as the source of an FSR 3 Unreal Engine 5 plugin. To assist developers in understanding the inner workings of FSR 3 and integrating the technology into their games and applications, AMD has also provided extensive documentation.

In addition to this announcement, AMD has revealed that FSR 3 support will be available for several new and upcoming games. These games include "Black Myth: Wukong," the latest titles from the "Warhammer" franchise ("Darktide," "Space Marine II," and "Realms of Ruin"), as well as "Starfield," "Pax Dei," and "Crimson Desert."
