Crucial's T700 PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD Series Now Available for Pre-Order
Crucial's T700 PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD series has been previewed multiple times, showcasing impressive sequential read and write performance. Now, Crucial has announced that the series is available for pre-order directly from their store, with a release date set for May 30th.
The Crucial T700 PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD offers sequential performance of up to 12,400 MB/s for read and up to 11,800 MB/s for write (11,700 MB/s and 9,500 MB/s for the 1 TB version). The series is available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities, with or without a heatsink. The Crucial T700 uses Micron 232-layer TLC NAND paired with Phison's E26 controller. The endurance rating (TBW) for the Crucial T700 SSD series is set at 600 TB for the 1 TB version, 1200 TB for the 2 TB version, and 2400 TB for the 4 TB version, and it is backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
Currently, the Crucial T700 series can only be pre-ordered directly from Crucial, but it is expected to be available in retail and e-tail soon.
