Supermicro and NVIDIA AI Solutions

Supermicro, Inc., a leading IT solution provider for AI, Cloud, Storage, and 5G/Edge, has announced new systems and rack solutions powered by NVIDIA's Blackwell Ultra platform. These systems feature the NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL16 and NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 platforms. The collaboration between Supermicro and NVIDIA aims to deliver breakthrough performance for compute-intensive AI workloads, including AI reasoning, agentic AI, and video inference applications.

"At Supermicro, we are thrilled to continue our partnership with NVIDIA to bring the latest AI technology to market with the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra Platforms," said Charles Liang, president and CEO of Supermicro. "Our Data Center Building Block Solutions approach has enabled us to develop new air and liquid-cooled systems optimized for the thermals and internal topology of the NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL16 and GB300 NVL72 platforms."

NVIDIA's Blackwell Ultra platform is designed to address performance bottlenecks in cluster-scale AI applications by providing 288 GB HBM3e of memory per GPU. This platform integrates with NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand and Spectrum-X Ethernet to double the compute fabric bandwidth, up to 800 Gb/s.

Supermicro NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL16 System

The Supermicro NVIDIA HGX B300 NVL16 system is an industry-standard building block for AI training clusters, featuring an 8-GPU NVIDIA NVLink domain and 1:1 GPU-to-NIC ratio for high-performance clusters. The system offers thermal design advancements in both liquid-cooled and air-cooled versions.

Supermicro NVIDIA GB300 NVL72

The NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 integrates 72 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 NVIDIA Grace CPUs in a single rack, providing exascale computing capacity. It features upgraded HBM3e memory capacity for over 20 TB of memory interconnected in a 1.8 TB/s 72-GPU NVLink domain.

Liquid-Cooled AI Data Center Building Block Solutions

Supermicro's expertise in liquid cooling and data center deployment allows for industry-leading time-to-deployment of NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra solutions. The company offers a complete liquid cooling portfolio, including direct-to-chip cold plates and in-rack CDUs.

Supermicro will be showcasing their latest AI solutions at GTC 2025 in San Jose, CA from March 17-21, 2025. Visit booth #1115 to see the X14/H14 B200, B300, and GB300 systems on display, along with rack-scaled liquid-cooled solutions.
