The NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti Gaming GPU Release
The highly anticipated NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti gaming GPU is set to launch on February 20. However, the availability for gamers to purchase one may be limited initially. A recent listing on an Austrian retailer's website has unveiled the pricing details for the MSI RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio card, priced at €1169 (inclusive of 19% VAT), which is approximately $1212. This marks a 33% increase from NVIDIA's official pricing for the RTX 5070 Ti in most EU regions. Despite being a high-end card, the price difference is quite surprising. Depending on supply, prices may rise further, similar to the launch of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080.
Specifications of the RTX 5070 Ti
The RTX 5070 Ti is expected to feature 8690 CUDA cores and 16 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit bus. Recent leaks suggest only modest performance improvements, akin to the RTX 5080. There is a possibility that the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT may outperform the RTX 5070 family in both raster performance and value. However, with NVIDIA likely to release their product first, gamers may have limited options until RDNA 4 is introduced. If the availability issues seen with previous launches persist, many consumers may have no choice but to wait for the RTX 5070 series.
